Fiona and Padraig are both from the Rathmore area but from different sides of the Cork/Kerry border, so the banter was pretty good from the start of the day.
They brought their family and friends to the luxurious and welcoming Malton Hotel in Killarney and had a wonderful celebration to start their life together.
The Parknasilla Hotel are hosting a wedding consultation day on Sunday April 29th.

Colleen and Eddie had their big day recently, the venues they choose were Castlemaine Co. Kerry where Colleen is from and the Malton Hotel in Kilarney.
The early Summer sunshine and showers added to the drama and as always played with the light keeping us on our toes.
Eddie was looking for something a little different for the bridal party shots so a bit of local knowledge on my part is always helpful when time is an issue.
A friend of mine John Michael Lyne was at the pier with his boat when we arrived at the pier so I was able to go out into the lake getting some great angles for these shots.
When we arrived back to a packed Malton, the band Dr Fox were getting the guests into party mood, this band is really worth checking out.

We had photographed Anna’s sisters wedding a couple of years back so we were delighted to be asked to do Anna’s and Alans big day. The Fitzgerald Vienna woods Hotel Glanmire in Cork was thier chosen venue for ceremony and reception.Anna was looking for quirqy shots for her bridal party shoot so we headed to the English market in the city much to the amusement of the people shopping there.Thanks guys for a great day.
We had the pleasure of photographing Helen and Adam’s wedding over the Christmas season and what a great day it turned out to be! Helen and Adam travelled all the way from Sydney, Australia to St Marys Cathedral and The Killarney Park Hotel for their big day.
Helen, a Killarney native, was hoping for a dry day as getting photographs by the lake and National park was a big priority for her. As you can see, the usually unreliable Irish weather worked in our favour. Adam’s family and friends travelled from his home in Dublin and some friends even made the long journey from Oz. The wedding reception took place in the luxurious and welcoming Killarney Park Hotel.
We have just finished a photography display album for the Malton Hotel in Killarney Co. Kerry.
The album was handmade in Melbourne, Australia by a innovative company called ‘Albums Australia.’ We have been dealing with this company for a while now and the reaction to their albums is always very positive.
The concept of the display album is to showcase the photography of Mícheál O Sullivan, the best of the local landscape, some contemporary style images and, of course, the majestic Malton hotel and its beautiful grounds. The album has been given to wedding manager Emer Corridan to place in its new home and it is available for viewing in the Malton Hotel.
There’s nothing like a wedding consultation day to brush down the Christmas cobwebs and roll into the business of wedding photography for 2012 and 2013. The Brehon Hotel in Killarney hosted two consultation days on January 2nd and the 8th. We were kindly invited to show our work by wedding manager Mary O Connell, and we met with some great couples and heard some new ideas for the coming wedding season.
We attended the Killarney Oaks Wedding fair a few days ago. This is a wedding fair with a slight twist as it is an evening event. It was great to meet so many couples getting on with the plans for their big day. A big thank you to Louise and Richard for organising such a successful evening.

This course is intended for people who want to turn off the Auto mode and get stuck into some real photography.
We will be dealing with the basic principles of SLR photography.
Light/Shutter speed/Aperture/Composition.
A project will be set at the start of the course and what is taught in each class will then be used to practice using the project as a guide.
There will be two field trips during the course where we will take what we have learned in the class out into the local landscape.
We will look at optics(lenses), digital file types(raw/jpeg etc.),black and white photography/lifestyle portaiture and lots more.
